Assessment

Some hats are reviewed before they are scheduled.

Straw hats, holes, tears, brittle vintage pieces, unusual structural damage, and specialty materials are assessed from photographs first. Payment is collected only after our team approves the hat and the recommended service.

Hat 1

Optional — US, UK, or centimetre sizing if it is marked inside the sweatband.

Optional — stains, damage, a previous repair, or anything you'd like us to look at.

Please include two to six photographs: Front, Back, Left, Right, Crown, Brim, Damage close-up.

Deadlines, events, or concerns about the piece.

Submitting an assessment request does not reserve a pickup window and does not authorize work. We respond with an honest evaluation first — preservation always takes priority over aggressive treatment.
